Photinia Red Robin,This branch of the Rosaceae family is commonly referred to as red robin. It is a quickly growing, evergreen shrub which easily reaches 3m in height. It is one of the few evergreen shrubs with reddish leaves and is frequently used to form hedges about 2m tall. Adapting well to all types of soil, continued exposure to sunlight intensifies its colouring. Its preferred climate conditions ara moderate as high temperatures affect it negatively. Propsering well on limy soil, it requires frequent trimming and moderate watering.
