Gleditsia Triacanthos Inermis. Honey Locust.

Gleditsia Triacanthos Inermis, Also known under the name of honey locust, this branch of the Caesalpiniaceae family is native to the southeast of the US. The honey locust displays a greenish-yellow sea of blossoms in May and June. Its trunk is generaly covered by dangerous thorns of aprox. 30 cm, whereas this variety possesses less and much shorter thorns, thus being named “thornless”.
