Aesculus Carnea Briotii . Red Horse-Chesnut.

Aesculus Carnea Briotti, Known as Red Horse-chestnut, this member of the Hippocastanaceae is a hybrid between Aesculus hippocastanum (horse-chestnut) and Aesculus Pavia & Brioti (red buckeye). A variety of Aesculus x carnea, it is characterised by its double flowers. It reaches heights of 18-26m but with a lifespan of about 200 years is not extremely long-living. Being a great choice to be planted along avenues, it does not tolerate limy soils. It requires humidity in its substrate and its environment. It does not tolerate proximity to the sea.

Format :             Circumference 10/12 – 12/14 – 14/16- 16/18 – 18/20 in bare roots or wire netting. 

                                   Circumference 14/16 – 16/18 – 18/20 and 20/25 in CO too.
